general

I just signed up for a month by month payment of a linode 80… reason being I didn't want to buy a full year if decided a linode wasn't what I was looking for.

If I decide at the end of this month or next month that I really like the linode setup, can I change my susbscription to a year payment and receave an upgrade in HD space?

Yep, just open a support ticket and let them know you want to pay for a full year. That's what I did.
