Eerr VPNSERVER and Linux kicking my A**

Ok i don't know linux period. I know old ass dos (help a tiny bit) and all the windows server applicaiton. But when it comes to Linux i am tottaly just wondering around.

In any case I got this account here to learn and to toss up a test server.

Well I am runing the Centrin OS 4.0. I managed to YUM to 4.2, followed the tutorial to Webmin up and runing, and tried to my VPN working. I like pretty pictues instead.

In any case I can get the server started, but when I log on it just shows a gray screen with 3 check boxes, and that's it.

Any help here would be great as I can't seem to find any answer. Keep in mind most basic shell commands are beyound me. I do have a nice PDF that helps though.

Thanks for any help

umm do u mean vnc no vpn? cause vpn is networking into the box, vnc is using the graphical side of it

if u do mean vnc, then the most common problem is, that u havnt installed kde or gnome and all u are seeing is the default x window manager type thing.. so use the package management system that u have (YUM in ur case) and search for KDE or GNOME whichever takes ur fancy and set that up..

cheers
