How Do I get wordpress going?

Hi, I am brandnew to linode and IT.
Just registered a domain name at namecheap.com, and bought a plan on linode. Is there step by step guide for me so I can get wordpress going to build up my website? I am using a windows laptop. I've created an image under ubuntu. Thanks.

There certainly is! We have a guide on installing WordPress on both Ubuntu 16.04 and Ubuntu 18.04.

We have guides on installing WordPress using the WordPress command line interface for Ubuntu 14.04 and Ubuntu 18.04 as well.

Another option is to deploy your Linode from a StackScript that includes WordPress, such as this one made by one of my colleagues here at Linode.

If you want to automate the whole process, you can set up Linodes with StackScripts via Terraform.
