How do I install Debian 7.11 on Linode

I need to install a debian 7.11. I would like to confirm that there is the possibility of installing the required distro version.

Hey there,

It is possible to install Debian 7.11 on your Linode. You need to follow the Install Custom Distribution Guide. While you are following this guide. There is the section Download and Install Image you need to modify the first command. The command provided is:

 wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/stable/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso dd if=mini.iso of=/dev/sda

It should be changed to this for Debian 7.11:

 wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/dists/Debian7.11/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/mini.iso dd if=mini.iso of=/dev/sda

I also want to make you aware that this distribution is no longer being supported by Debian.
