vncserver

Hi,

anyone has answers ?

I experimented with fedora 2.0.

I created a centos4.0 partition too.

i wanted to get a vncsession from my home laptop to the linode.

vncserver started up in fedora 2 but i failed to connect to it.

so i rebooted from the cent OS partition.

i had created a new users under that partition.

still no luck with vncviewer.

i used li-204.memembers.linode.com:1 as the hostname in the viewer

my command and log follow. what am i doing wrong:

–---------------------

[krish@li13-204 ~]$ vi .vnc/li13-204:1.log

Did you just mistype "members" in the forum, or is this what you entered into vncviewer? If it's what you entered in the viewer, you need to change it to "members" instead of "memembers".
