Why is my Killing Floor server not showing in Steam's master server list?

I have hosted Killing Floor servers in the past without any issues but I have recently encountered an issue with a new one on a Singapore Linode.

The game server runs just fine and users are able to connect to the server by IP, however, the server is not showing up in the master server list.

Below are troubleshooting methods that have not worked:

  • Fresh server installation (using instructions here: https://linuxgsm.com/lgsm/kfserver/)

  • Rsyncing my server files and configs over from an existing US Linode that shows in the server list.

I was able to find links to an API search and a solution from a steam user experiencing a similar issue.

Web API to check server list for the server:
