Billing on credit card

Normally I make payments for the whole year, then linode charges me monthly using the credit I have on my account. What if I go over my credits, it will billing automatically on my saved credit card?

Hey there,

You are correct. When you make an advanced payment you are basically crediting your account. When billing time comes around, we subtract the amount indicated in your invoice from your credit. If the credit is fully depleted we then try to charge your credit card on file. If for some reason we can't charge that card, we'll let you know.

I hope this answers your question. Have a great day.

Regards,

Elias
