While it certainly is possible to install Windows on a Linode, we would not be able to help or provide support for it.
I've heard that the following URL has helped out other customers. However, it looks like this may be a bit out of date, but the process should be similar.
If you do get Windows up and running on a Linode, feel free to let us know by posting a response here to let us know how you got it done!
I got it to work (even with paravirtualization using VirtIO drivers), but it was a lot of trial and error, embedding the drivers in the Windows ISO, converting that ISO to a dummy USB stick that had to be converted in a RAW disk image, etc. If there’s appatite from Linode, I can write up a guide for the community.

I can install windows 10, windows server 2016, 2016 with the .gz link file
but i don't have windows 7.gz file link

Hey there, @dauma49409! Though we don't have any official documentation on configuring Windows on a Linode at this time, other customers in the past have had success using this third-party guide.

Hi @Chris_H, I am trying to use the guide, but after finishing to create a windows machine on Virtualbox, I go to storage and choose Finnix.iso to boot from it. But the VM still boot to Windows OS instead of Finnix. Can you please help me to fix it? Thank you so much.
