Network Helper did not run: unsupported distribution or distribution version

Network Helper did not run: unsupported distribution or distribution version why?

Because you have an unsupported distribution or distribution version. What are you running?

It doesn't always mean they're running an unsupported distribution .. network helper looks at a number of configs / settings to reliably determine what you're running. Most of that stuff doesn't change, but it's not unheard of for this to happen mistakenly.

What's the output of cat /etc/os-release?
