Does a node's address change if it's transferred between accounts?

I need to transfer a node from my account to someone else's account as described in another answer.

Will the IP address for this node change as a result of the transfer?

Hey there! If you transfer a Linode from one account to another, the IP address stays the same. The transfer itself is completely seamless with no down time and no need for a reboot.
