Host26: can't ssh, can't reboot?

Hello.

I don't know what's going on with host26, but…

  • The system load is supposed to be slow (checked on the "Members" page), so this doesn't seem to be related to the high load bursts problem;

  • I can't ssh to the host:

ssh -vvvv host26.linode.com

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
  • And I tried to reboot, but the request is on the queue for more than 10 minutes now.

I am running Debian stable and the latest 2.6 kernel; I've uploaded my DSA public key and logged in to the host before without problems.

I can log in to other hosts (not at linode), so it's likely not to be my ssh client.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with host26?

It seems that things are working again now. But that ssh failure was quite strange…
