New account delay - Linode 128

I am not sure what to expect, but I signed up for a Linode 128 account, been billed for it, and yet it SEEMS like I am not able to use it. I have an userid (gesarinfo) and password, but these do not seem to work anywhere.

My invoice is dated 8/26, #12850. I was also billed on the same day. Today is 8/30. Am i doing something wrong, or is the signup process a lengthy one? I happened to have been billed $7.14 for this period, by the way:

"Linode 128 & 3 GB Disk FREE 08/26/2004 - 08/31/2004 $0.00 $7.74"

Please let me know what to do,

Alex

Hi,

All accounts have to be manually validated. Caker should get round to it soon.

By the looks of it you signed up for an anual plan.

The first month is pro-rated, you will get your full years billing next month.

Thank you. I just did not know it'd take so long. Look forward to it.

Doesn't it seem odd to be billed for time when you cannot use your account, because your application has not been validated?

If I were the original poster, I'd be asking for my $7 back …
