I created a new zone over an hour ago. The "check zone" functionality has stated "This zone hasn't been rendered yet. Please wait a few minutes and try again." since I created it. I don't recall this being a problem in the past, but it's been a whlie since I last created a zone, so I don't know how long I should expect it to take. Is this unusual? Should I file a ticket? Or is it just a "be patient, grasshopper" situation?
All changes to your DNS manager should go through at every 15 minutes (0:00, 0:15, 0:30, 0:45). If it hasn't gone through yet, I'd say open a ticket up with Support and state that it's been over an hour.
