Tokyo 2, JP node IP location is Singapore ??

I created a node at Tokyo 2, JP ,

but I checked the connection , the IP is Singapore

Why ??

Geolocation by IP address is guesswork and should generally not be relied upon for anything serious.

And still, some services do. E.g. BBC, and all those streaming services. I don't use them, and they may not be relevant for Linode customers. But I'm sure there are others.

With the latest update of the geoip database my Tokyo2 linode is now Japan.
