Can't ping ipv6.google.com via Ubuntu?

Hi there,

Spun up a new Linode today and am trying to get IPv6 set up. For some reason, even on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04, running the command "ping6 ipv6.google.com" times out. I believe Linode is already configured for IPv6 out of the box, so what am I doing wrong here? Running the same command on a Debian 8 installation works fine, however.

Unfortunately, not all Google servers hosting ipv6.google.com (or www.google.com, for that matter) respond to ICMPv6, so you probably ended up with one that didn't. You can try pinging any of the following to verify IPv6 is working:

www.linode.com

ns1.linode.com

ns2.linode.com

ns3.linode.com

ns4.linode.com

ns5.linode.com

lish-dallas.linode.com

lish-fremont.linode.com

lish-atlanta.linode.com

lish-newark.linode.com

lish-london.linode.com

lish-tokyo.linode.com

lish-singapore.linode.com

lish-frankfurt.linode.com

google-public-dns-a.google.com

google-public-dns-b.google.com

Thank you.

I think there may be something wrong with the Singapore server. Of the list, I can only ping6 lish-singapore.linode.com. I have spun up numerous instances and enabled network helper to no avail.

I have tried on the Tokyo and UK servers and ping6 seems to work perfectly.
