MySQL 3.23 + FC1 + 2.6.x kernel = crash

When I try the combination in subject mysql crashes.

Anyone else experciencing the same problem?

I just experienced repeated crashes with MySQL4 on Gentoo, 2.6 kernel. Have switched back to 2.4.x. Doing some investigation on it right now.
