Wordpress writing files as root - not www-data?

Hi,

I'm running a linode with:

My Debian 7 Profile (Latest 64 bit (4.0.5-x86_64-linode58))

However, with wordpress - its creating the files as root:root, not www-data:www-data. I know a little about servers, but I'm far from an expert!

What would be my best option here? The account is literally just for one domain (using nginx). Does SuEXEC work ok for this kinda thing?

TIA

Andy

Use php5-fpm for the PHP stuff. It works great with nginx, and it uses www-data by default.
