Unwanted virtual hardware

The logcheck program sent me this yesterday after migration to KVM:

I feel a little bit uncomfortable having a floppy disk unit in my virtual machine. Is there a way to remove unwanted hardware? (Alternatively: Would it make sense to remove the floppy for everybody?)
