TXT DNS record

I'm trying to have my site verified by godaddy for ssl, and it doesn't seem to be working. I've added a DNS TXT record as they have advised with the value that they sent me (and the name "dzc") on the linode DNS manager, but they haven't been able to verify.

How do I debug this?

Is that the name they told you to use? If they're looking for a record on example.org and you added the record to dzc.example.org, they aren't going to successfully validate it.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, that's the name they told me to use. They have instructions here:

https://support.godaddy.com/help/articl … ?locale=en">https://support.godaddy.com/help/article/7452/verifying-your-domain-ownership-for-ssl-certificate-requests-html-or-dns?locale=en

And I used the value that they emailed to me. Does that sound like I did the right thing?

Never mind, it was finally verified. Just took a lot longer than I thought it would.
