MRTG

Hi Guys,

I've noticed my linode is getting a bit slower than when I first purchased it so I decided to install MRTG to monitor load/disk io and cpu usage amongst other things. I've written up a brief desciption of how I did it http://hacks.robl.org.uk. Go have a look if you're interested.

Cheers,

Rob

For bandwidth monitoring, you may wish to try ntop - http://ntop.org

It's simply amazing.

For Debian users, just type apt-get install ntop to get it up and running, then you can see its reports straight away via localhost:3000

cheers, HS
